SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Jens Hansen is Microsoft’s Director of Continuous Improvement (CI) where he is responsible for the planning, deployment and execution of Continuous Improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) throughout the company. Within Microsoft, CI resides with Business Process Management, Scorecarding, and Dashboarding efforts in the Corporate Strategy organization. In this capacity he has developed the company’s training, certification, and project portfolio system in addition to coaching and mentoring organizations in their CI deployments.
Jens joined Microsoft from Bank One where he led the Retail Lending organization’s project management office as well as leading lending’s JP Morgan Chase merger office. Prior to Bank One he worked at General Electric where he held leadership roles in IT and Six Sigma in the Corporate IT group.
Jens also has 13 years of experience in leadership, staff, and analyst roles in the military and continues to serve today as a reservist in U.S. Special Operations Command.
