4-DAY KAIZEN EVENT
A vital part of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen has been a core competency for best-in-class organizations for decades. Kaizen, literally translated from Japanese, means “change to become good”, but is synonymous with “continuous (gradual) improvement”. The Kaizen philosophy, an integral part of Total Quality Management, embodies such key elements as quality, effort, employee involvement, willingness to change and communication. While relatively easy to implement and practice, successful Kaizen requires discipline and commitment. This workshop consists of a blended shop-floor and classroom application of Kaizen on a practical business problem which will have been identified by your management team. The actual workshop duration will depend on the improvement opportunity you select, and the amount of time required between in-class training for the team to work on the problem.
At the completion of this workshop, the participants will understand how to lead a Kaizen event and appropriately apply it as a Lean continuous improvement tool for your organization.
