2-day Lean Six Sigma Champion
Lean Six Sigma has rapidly become the most widely accepted and successful business process improvement strategy in the world today.
Champions are the key to Lean Six Sigma success within an organization. A Champion's role and responsibilities include the selection, coaching and mentoring of Lean Six Sigma project managers, (Black Belts, Green Belts, etc), as well as the identification, scoping and proactive sponsoring of Lean Six Sigma projects and project teams.
To be effective in their strategic leadership role, Champions must have a broad base of Lean & Six Sigma knowledge and an understanding of the Lean & Six Sigma Deployment Strategies that their organization has developed and is implementing.
One of a Champion’s primary responsibilities will be to ensure the strategic alignment of Lean Six Sigma process improvement projects with organizational goals and objectives.
This two-day session includes project selection and scoping, as well as an introduction to the Six Sigma DMAIC project methodology, Lean principles tools & methods, and the process improvement tools that you can expect to be employed. Lean Six Sigma concepts, roles and responsibilities as well as the selection and training of Lean Six Sigma resources will also be addressed as a part of an exploration of Lean & Six Sigma deployment options and the management of change in a Lean Six Sigma culture.
